WA Residents ORV tabs

After purchase of an off-road vehicle you have 15 days to purchase/apply for the vehicles title and ORV registration. If purchased through a WA state dealership the dealer may do this for you the first year, if purchased from a private seller or out of state dealership you will need to do this yourself. WA DOL ORV INFO

Your registration expires 1 year from the date you register your ORV, you will need to register it every year. You must carry the ORV registration with you at all times while it is being used in Washington State. You must affix the ORV tab decal to the vehicle at all times.

Out Of State Residents ORV tabs

If you come from a state that doesn't impose a retail sales or use tax for ORV's you must certify and register your ORV for use in Washington state. You have to complete and submit the application and pay the licensing fees. Once completed you will receive Registration, Decals/tag, and ORV tabs. To register the vehicle, bring a completed Out of State ORV Registration Application, Unexpired Out of state driver's license, current out of state ORV registration.
